Summary
This map is very useful for people interested in World of Hyatt. Paying the $95 annual fee for the free night is also a good deal, considering it’s not difficult to find a Category 1-4 Hyatt hotel in many cities. If you’re staying at Hyatt and plan to use this Hyatt card frequently, in addition to the 4x points, you also get an additional free night after $15,000 in spending. This card is also great for earning/keeping your elite status: 5 nights each year to keep the card, plus 2 nights for every $5,000 spent. If you want to earn or maintain Globalist status (which requires 60 nights), with this card you already get 5 nights, so you only need to spend $140,000 to get enough night credits even if you don’t stay at Hyatt has it all, and of course you can also stay and spend. Bottom line, if you’re truly loyal to Hyatt, this card is definitely worth applying for and keeping.
Recommended downgrade options
- You cannot downgrade this card to a no annual fee card, so I suggest you close it when you no longer want to keep it.
