Who is eligible?

The Settlement Class includes all individuals in the United States who purchased a JUUL product at a retail store, online store, or on the JUUL website before December 7, 2022. You are not a member of the Settlement Class if:

  • You purchased the JUUL product(s) only from another person who is not a retailer; Or

Products included in the Settlement are any JUUL product designed, manufactured, produced, advertised, marketed, distributed or sold by JUUL Labs, or under the JUUL logo, including β€œJUUL” branded pods or devices.

Settlement payment

JUUL Labs, on behalf of itself and other individuals and entities, has agreed to pay $255,000,000 to resolve the Settlement Class’ claims. Class members who submit a claim are eligible for a settlement amount after payment of attorneys’ fees and filing costs.

Each claim will be based on the amount spent by each claimant on JUUL products compared to other members of the settlement class. The amount each applicant will receive is unknown at this time, as it depends on the total number of applications.

It will also depend on the number and type of purchase. A numerical value will be assigned to each purchase. It consists of the retail spending for each purchase, multiplied by the weighted values ​​shown below:
