With determination and support from friends and advisors, she purchased her own land and built a small house nestled in nature, close to her family and surrounded by trees. This is Ham’s story, told in his own words.
Tell us a little about yourself
I am a single mother of a wonderful child. With the help of many friends and advisors, I built a tiny house on wheels to allow us to live with a low cost of living and reduce our environmental footprint. I find joy in simple things and feel blessed to be able to live near my family and lots of trees!
Where are you in your real estate journey?
With the help of Jess and the dedicated team at Mortgage Supply Co, I recently purchased my own little plot of land to give my son and I a little security – a place where we know we can watch our fruit trees grow to maturity and settle down. for a happy life.
What is one thing you wish you had known earlier on your real estate journey?
I would have liked to know what questions to ask the seller (a private sale), as a few minor items were miscommunicated by the surveyor involved in the subdivision of the property. During my efforts to make the sale work, I hadn’t even thought about these details and the implications of not asking the right questions.
