- You must use the card 5 times each statement period to earn points.

- Although you get a routing number and account number, you cannot use them to pay mortgages or tuition fees etc. If you do, transactions will be reversed and you will receive warnings from Bilt.
Bilt Rewards Points
Bilt rewards points are surprisingly flexible and valuable. Its 1:1 transferable partners are:
- Accor (3:2 ratio)
- Aer Lingus (EI) Avios
- Alaska Airlines (AS) Mileage Plan
American Airlines (AA) AAdvantage(No longer a transfer partner from 2024.6.24)- Air Canada Aeroplan (AC)
- Avianca (AV) LifeMiles
- British Airways (BA) Avios
- Cathay Pacific (CX) Asia Miles
- Emirates (EC) Skywards
- Air France (AF) Volant Bleu
- Iberia (IB) Avios
- Marriott
- PRESS Miles&Go
- Turkish (TK) Miles & Smiles
- Virgin Atlantic Aeroclub (VS)
- Hawaiian miles (HA)
- United Airlines (UA) MileagePlus
- The world of Hyatt
- IHG
Note that Hyatt, AA and UA points are very valuable and not so easy to obtain.
Bilt points can also be redeemed on the Bilt travel portal, powered by Expedia, at a flat rate of 1.25 cents/point. While this is not the best way to redeem Bilt points, it is a flexible way to redeem points.
Bilt points can also be redeemed as a statement credit at a fixed ratio of 0.55 cents/point. It is not recommended to redeem points this way as the ratio is too low.
Summary
Rent is typically a major expense that you can’t earn credit card rewards for. With the Bilt credit card, you can now earn points! Plus, Bilt points can be transferred 1:1 to Hyatt, AA, or UA, which is really cool. As a relatively new company, Bilt points are surprisingly strong. I hope they can provide more features over time, like allowing people to pay mortgages.
